Leonie Chinn is an experienced and awarded visual artist living and creating on the traditional lands of the Turrbal People in the Moreton Bay Region of southeast Queensland.

Leonie studied drawing and painting over a six year period at the Byron Bay School of Art founded by South Australian artist, Roland Weight. Her work employs gestural, contour and tonal drawing techniques with calligraphic mark making and collage elements.

Leonie holds a first-class honours degree in Philosophy and worked for seventeen years in the University and Government sectors.
