Leonie Chinn is an experienced and awarded visual artist living and creating on the traditional lands of the Turrbal People in the Moreton Bay Region of southeast Queensland.

Leonie studied drawing and painting over a six year period at the original Byron Bay School of Art whilst simultaneously working towards her first class Honours degree in Philosophy and learning classical dance. Her work employs gestural, contour and tonal drawing techniques with calligraphic mark making and collage elements.
